The weekend of 30 Jun 07, Tracy and I decided to take a road trip to see the Beartooth
Highway in northwestern Wyoming. All we can say is, "Wow." It was really, really nice, and it
reminded us there were still things we haven't seen out west. We saw lots of glittering lakes,
some grizzlies (including one with two cubs) and black bears in Yellowstone, some grizzly
tracks on a trail outside the park, some strange mountain goat/antelope animal, and just lots
and lots of great views. We went into Yellowstone through the west entrance, and went out
the east entrance. We drove to Cody, and then went from there up to the Beartooth Highway.
We followed the highway out to Red Lodge, and camped on Saturday night. We then drove
back up through Cooke City and back through Yellowstone on Sunday. But enough
talking...just check out the pictures.
