The weekend of 16 Sep 06, Tracy and I tried to go find a trail with some good aspen color.

Unfortunately, this was the weekend that the first cold front of the year decided to roll through.

The result was some pretty good snow up over 9000 feet, as well as lots and lots of mud

everywhere.  We didn't really find any aspen, because the snow and mud were too bad to get

up high enough.  We did manage to almost get horribly stuck on one road, but we found some

nice areas outside of Provo near Mt. Nebo.
