On Jan 6, 2006, I decided to take half a day off from work and enjoy the warm weather out

here in Utah.  I also figured I would finally get to try out my new mountain bike that I got for

Christmas, so I headed up to Antelope Island State Park.  I pedaled the White Rock Bay Trail

(Google Map), and I really enjoyed it.  The trail was tough on my newbie legs, because it had

some climb to it, and there was a lot of deep sand on the trail.  I made it about 3.5 miles before

I decided to turn around.  But I heard several coyotes howling, and I saw a bunch of the buffalo

they have on the island.  The views there are really nice, and I'm sure the views on the other

half of the loop would be even better.
