Panthertown Valley, NC - May 2003 - This was another hike into Panthertown (Google Map).  I

just really like Panthertown.  The hikes aren't hard.  The trails aren't crowded.  The views are

great.  The waterfalls are nice.  Panthertown is just a really good place to hike.  The only

drawback is that it's small.  The area is really small, and that keeps you from feeling like you've

really escaped.  But it's still a great place.  David and I had to do some nice river crossings on

this hike...and it was still good and cold.
