The weekend of 28 Jan 11, Tracy and I took a friend and her two boys down to Moab.

Basically, we just did touristy things around Moab and at Goblin Valley.  We used our telescope

down in southern Utah for the first time.  That was great.  We saw four moons of Jupiter, as

well as the bands of Jupiter.  We also saw more detail in the Orion Nebula than we could see

at home, and we saw the Milky Way Galaxy.  It's definitely worth hauling the telescope down

there.
