Grayson Highlands State Park, VA - November 2003 - We hiked up the Appalachian Trail in

Grayson Highlands (Google Map) State Park in Virginia.  We used to go here when we were in

college, and this is a really great place...it kinda has a Rocky Mountain feel to it.  It's got lots of

clear balds with great views, and there are even ponies running around on the mountains.

This is just a really nice place.  There are also some pictures from the Beauty Spot, which is

another place on the AT near Erwin, TN.
