I wanted to get some training in with my full
pack on my back, so I hiked down to one of the inlet streams wearing my full pack. As always,
the hike was nice. I had the trail to myself going in, but after lunch, I started seeing people on
my hike out. I also saw lots of animals, including moose, beavers, deer, hummingbirds, great
blue herons, and vultures. The lake was also higher than I've ever seen it. All in all, a decent
trip close to home.
