On November 7, 2009, Tracy and I drove out to the west side of the Great Salt Lake. We had
never been out here, because I had always assumed it was all part of the Air Force bombing
range. I recently learned that part of it was BLM land, so we went to check it out. We drove
out to Lakeside (Google Map), and hiked around some. The area was actually very nice. It
looked just like Antelope Island, with grassy hills. We didn't see anyone out there, and F-16s
were flying over all day. It was a very relaxing day, which was nice. It took about 2 hours to
drive out there, which was kind of far.
