The weekend of 26 Jul 08, I headed out to Center Park (Google Map) in the Uintas to do some

cross-country hiking up the surrounding mountains.  Once I got there, though, I decided I

would just take it easy.  So I car camped at a really nice spot on Saturday night.  I slept out on

the ground part of the night until it started to look like rain at about midnight, and then I slept in

the back of the truck.  I got up the next morning and hiked down and through Cow Park...yes,

there were LOTS of cows.  This area was really nice...lots of open, green parks.  There were

no mosquitos, so I was really happy.  I saw some really fresh bear scat, but no bear.
