The weekend of 1 Dec 07, Tracy and I tried to find a trail way out in western Utah, but we ended up

getting sidetracked on the Pony Express Trail.  We had a good time just wondering around the area and

imagining the logistics of the Pony Express Trail.  We thought it was really weird that everyone has

heard of the Pony Express, but the whole thing only lasted a year and a half before the telegraph went

up.  We also hiked along the North Fork of the Provo River (Google Map) off the Mirror Lake Highway in

the Uintas.  The snow wasn't too bad, but it's about time to break out the snowshoes.
