On 16 Dec 06, Tracy and I did some snowshoeing up Log Hollow (Google Map) on the
outskirts of the Uintas. A big winter storm was forecast for that evening, so we didn't want to
get too far off the beaten path. This trailhead is right off a paved highway, which is a rarity in
Utah. We had the trail to ourselves and had to do some tough trail packing in the deep
powder. It was a really nice place to snowshoe, though, because there weren't any other
people, and especially no snowmobiles.
